  28.                          X-96 the successor...

  31. After last years success were going to fly even higher. It will be more wicked
  32. than last year's party.....
  33.  
  34. The party will take place on 6+7 april 1996. 
  35. some things changed, other stayed the same, but it will be fun for sure.
  36.  
  37. The entrance fee is about 30 dutch guilders, though german marks can be
  38. exchanged against a 1 dm=1hfl (only paper, no small change).
  39.  
  40.  
  41. The party will be held in the same place as last year's so those who have
  42. already been there know how to find it.
  43. More rooms will be available and we also aranged a sleeping facility (do not
  44. forget your sleeping bag!!!!!).
  45.  
  46. Furthermore we have a meetingplace with a bar and a videocorner. different rooms
  47. for both c-64 and pc. outside is a big parking place and a cafeteria which will
  48. sell all kinds of snacks.
  49. Prices will be reasonable.....(not like tp5).
  50.  
  51. The partyplace can hold about 500 participants so it's imperative that you
  52. make reservations. Those who do not make them might be refused at the entrance.

  56.                        The party will feature:

  59. - 24 hours showing of the latest movies
  60.  
  61. - probably a party network
  62.  
  63. - performances

  65. - competitions ofcourse

  70.     Some things to keep in mind are

  73. - bring your own power cables (grounded)
  74.  
  75. - space is limited, so you can bring a computer but when you bring amplifiers
  76.   etc. we cannot guarantee that you can place them at the party.

  79.               Rules for the competitions
  80.  
  81. - the demo should not have been released yet.
  82.  
  83. - each group can participate with 1 demo
  84.  
  85. - the demo will be released at the party

  87. - the demo will be judged by a competent and partly expert jury
  88.  
  89. - the demo must run on a dx2-66 min. but will be displayed on a pent.100
  90.   15mb and integrated videocard (brand will be announced in a later note).
  91.   sound will come from a gus pro with about 4mb.
  92.   you do not need sound blaster support and the demo doesn't have to be win95
  93.   competible.

  95. - there will also be a music, graphics and intro competitions.

  98. - the same rules apply here except for the music compo. musics must be played
  99.   in either xm, mod, s3m etc or you must supply your own player.

  102.                             How to behave
  103.  
  104. - people who behave criminally will be handed over to the police. softdrugs
  105.   are allowed though.
  106.  
  107. - we are not responsible for losses.
  108.  
  109. - we serve alcohol but when you are too drunk you will be removed from the
  110.   party place.

  112. - between 00:00 and 06:00 it's either inside or outside.
  113.  
  114. - at any time the organisers keep the right to refuse admittance.
  115.  
  116. - racist signs and behaviour will not be tolerated.

  125. Write a paper including your name, handle, number of computers you bring
  126. along, number of persons, format (c-64 or pc), group etc.

  189. Take the train to utrecht central station.
  190. Then take bus 7 heading for Zuilen.
  191. Get out at the humberdreef.
  192. When you get out, cross the lawn untill the houses.
  193. Turn left untill you see another grassfield.
  194. Turn right and go straight ahead. then you will see it on your left.
  195. It is next to a school and on the opposite is a large flat and you 
  196. can recognize it by it's many strange roofs.

  202. At the A2 take turn Maarssen Utrecht Noord
  203. You are now on the N230 (Zuilense Ring).
  204. Follow the N230 till the second roundabout, turn right and immediately
